This book is worth the $.99 I paid. It is a beware book of web hosting sites. It would have been nice if the author would have given suggestions where to go to research info on hosting sites other than visiting the site and how to determine the size of website I need. The link at the end of the book to the authors website gave me an error message.Product details

Web Hosting For Beginners eBook Josh Wilkinson Reviews
Finding the good web host is very important now a days. There are so many spam and scam web hosts are in the market. This book highly reveals to find out the good and bad web hosts. So this book is very useful to me. I recommend this book to my friends.
I recently encountered the maze that is called webhosting when i needed to create and host a website for our not for profit organisation. I spent hours and hours looking online, comparing one company with another until it all became the same to me. Thanks to "how to spot good webhosts", i finally learnt to distinguish between the good, bad and downright useless. I realised on reading this book that many of the features some of the providers were trying to offer as "much needed addons" were not really suitable and necessary for our purposes. If you want a concise and clear guide that will help you find the perfect host and service package for you, then i would highly recommend you read this book.
I'm sorry, but there's very little actual content in this short report (it's not a book by any stretch). It's literally a 10-minute read, and consists of warnings that could easily be summarized in two pages. Frankly, if you're so gullible as to be taken in by some of the marketing ploys he warns about, you probably don't know enough to have your own website anyway.
I basically know nothing when it comes to anything about websites or web hosting or anything to do with websites. I was never good with things like that. But I really had to get to know websites and computers when I entered college, and such. And in one of my classes, we had to create a website with our own blog, and twitter...etc.
I was completely lost when it came to the website portion. I purchased my domain name, and such but I didn't know what web hosting company to choose. It was so overwhelming because there are so many companies out there, and they all had great deals or so I thought. But before I made a position, I wanted to get more insight and stuff first so I thought I would Google, and buy a book on the subject.
Scanning through books, this one came up. It looked like it would be helpful, and it was the exact topic that I was looking for, and all the reviews were positive so I decided to purchase it. And I'm glad I did!
The book was very easy to read, and easy to navigate. A lot of books on websites or webhosting are boring, full of tons of unnecessary information but this book was the complete opposite. It kept me engaged and the author wrote it in a way that kept me alert, and wanting to read more and learn.
After reading this book, I went back through the web hosting companies, and I felt confident in my knowledge to choose a good company. And I did! I even got an A on my project too, and I recommended this book to my fellow classmates, who also said the book helped them too!
If you do not know anything about the web and how it works - this might be ok for the $0.99
If you know that review sites on the web might be affiliate sales or that you want a host with a privacy policy - skip it.
In the end he wants you to visit his webpage with an affiliate sales link...
This book is worth the $.99 I paid. It is a beware book of web hosting sites. It would have been nice if the author would have given suggestions where to go to research info on hosting sites other than visiting the site and how to determine the size of website I need. The link at the end of the book to the authors website gave me an error message.
